ABOUT THE FOUNDER

 

Nello Zuech, founder of VSII, has been involved in the sale, planning and marketing of high technology products for over 30 years. Prior to establishing VSII, his professional experience encompassed a wide variety of sales and marketing assignments with companies such as: ORS Automation, Schlumberger, CBS Laboratories and Raytheon.

Mr. Zuech holds masters degrees in management and electrical engineering from the Baruch School of the City University of New York and New York University. Mr. Zuech is a prominent speaker and published author of numerous articles and several books on the subject of machine vision. A member of the World Bank Consultancy Registry, SME College of Fellows, IEEE and IEEE Consulting Group, SPIE and Tau Beta Pi, he was also a charter member of the Machine Vision Association. These activities have provided a high-level vantage point to observe numerous industries and gain data useful in spotting trends in the marketplace. He has frequently been quoted in articles for the financial and technical press.
