This program allows the user to select the proper COSMICAR/PENTAX CCTV lens for virtually any application. All that is required is to input the details of the scene or object you wish to view and the corresponding data of the appropriate COSMICAR/PENTAX lens will be displayed in order of most suitable, to alternative suggestion. In addition, should the application require the use of extension rings, this information will be displayed. When a particular lens is chosen, detailed characteristics of that lens also displayed. Another important feature of this user friendly program is the ability to determine depth of field by simply inputting F number data.

Installation Instructions - After downloading, use your favorite unzipping program (such as Winzip, which can be found by clicking here) to extract all of the files contained in "lens.zip" to a temporary folder (i.e. c:\temp). Run the extracted "Setup.exe" file to install the Lens Selector software. You will see a small dialog box with some Japanese characters, then the full screen Cosmicar/Pentax title screen. Install in the recommended directory. Move the shortcut to your desktop. This program was designed for Windows 3.1, but seems to work fine with more recent operating systems. If you are running Windows 2000, it may show a GPF error on setup, but the program should be there. It can be easily moved on your hard drive, as it does not alter your registry. That's it!
