(CVB) is a set of powerful software components that can be configured in a variety of ways to develop robust machine vision applications. Common Vision Blox from STEMMER IMAGING has proved its market leading position in Europe through several thousand applications in the past few years. Image Labs International is the sole authorized North American distributor for STEMMER IMAGING to expand its international sales channels of Common Vision Blox (CVB) into the American market. Image Labs International has a lot of know-how and experience in the field of image processing and is a well known distributor and integrator of machine vision components in the USA . Just like STEMMER IMAGING, Image Labs International sets highest value on qualified professional consulting during engineering and a funded technical support during the machine vision project runtime. - This is a low cost package that provides most of the tools you need for basic applications. Tools are included for image Capture, Reading and Writing to disk, Edge location, Filtering, Threshold, Blob location, Correlation, Graphing, Lightmeter, and Image Unwarping, plus more.
- Whether you're working in VC++, VB, C# or .NET, this powerful and flexible toolset is great for developing imaging applications quickly. It supports Microsoft and Borland compilers, and has Active X and LabView controls. For prototyping new applications, use their GUI development environment called iTuition.
-
This is the best part of the package. There are examples for almost every function, written in all these languages: .NET, VB, VC, Dephi, and CBuilder. They come with compiled examples, so you can try out the functions and see how they work before you write a line of code.
- One of the strong features of CVB is their hardware independence. This means that once you develop an application, it is easy to port it to a new frame grabber with other features. The package provides support for USB, Firewire (IEEE 1394), and Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) cameras, too.
- These are free trial packages, with only a few functions disabled. The file save function is disabled, and occasionally a reminder screen will pop up reminding you this is a trial package. This way you can develop and try any tool, and only purchase what you need.
-
These are competitively priced tools that include almost any image processing tool appropriate for machine vision. Additional tools beyond the Foundation Package include: FFT, Advanced filtering, Barcode, Bayer conversion, Color Matching, Contour, Shape Recognition, Object recognition, Movie, Print Quality, and Fuzzy Logic. These can be tried for free to see what you need, then purchase only what you need.
- You can download the latest version of the entire package over the network, or request a CD from Image Labs.

Arithmetic | The software tool Arithmetic is a function library which can be used to combine Common Vision Blox compatible images. This makes it possible, for example, to add, subtract, multiply and divide two images pixel by pixel. Any range overflows that occur can be handled in a flexible manner. Image calibration with CVB Arithmetic. | | 371.35 k - pdf | | Download | Barcode | Barcodes and Matrix Codes are now increasingly used in industrial and scientific applications. Common Vision Blox Barcode is a library of functions to omnidirectionally read one- and twodimensional barcodes in video images. Barcode can therefore significantly extend the capabilities of industrial vision software. | | 334.27 k - pdf | | Download | Blob | Blob is a Common Vision Blox tool for measuring morphometric parameters in objects of any shape(contiguous pixel ranges) which are defined by means of a binary threshold (blobs and holes in blobs). | | 326.77 k - pdf | | Download | Color | Color is a color recognition tool consisting basically of two program modules named »Teach« and »Search« Color spaces. | | 354.44 k - pdf | | Download | Contour | The software tool Contour provides users with an easy way of identifying the outlines of objects of any type. | | 342.98 k - pdf | | Download | Controls | The differences in functionality of the cameras now available on the market make it necessary to have a new kind of software concept. In addition to the different forms of signal and the different channel widths covered by the frame grabber, many cameras and lighting units now also offer interfaces for the remote control of internal functions. | | 626.55 k - pdf | | Download | Edge | This documentation relates to the Common Vision Blox Edge library for edge detection. | | 345.28 k - pdf | | Download | Filter Tools | One of the basic functions of image processing is the filtering of image data. The use of filters allows you to enhance or reduce certain features of the image. | | 391.56 k - pdf | | Download | Fuzzy Modules | FuzzyDecisionDesk-Surface is an analysis module for qualitative surface analysis that, in conjunction with the Common Vision Blox concept, carries out rapid and objective classification of inhomogeneous structures such as rubber compounds, enamel surfaces, etc. | | 342.07 k - pdf | | Download | iTuition | The iTuition graphical programming interface vastly simplifies the creation of image processing applications with Common Vision Blox (CVB). | | 321.34 k - pdf | | Download | LightMeter | The software tool LightMeter provides an easy way of creating histograms and analyzing a wide range of statistical parameters. The software consists of two components: LightMeter and DrawGraph. Both tools can be used as DLLs or OCXs. | | 379.54 k - pdf | | Download | Manto | Named after the seeress of ancient Greek legend, MANTO paves the way for digital image processing into a world which is made up not only of objects which are industrially manufactured, standardized and illuminated with a stable light source, but is also populated by organic forms and textures with a high degree of deformation and poor reproducibility in an ever changing environment. | | 490.06 k - pdf | | Download | Minos | For many industrial pattern matching applications, it has been historically necessary for the developer to refine the algorithm on an object-specific basis. It has not been generally possible, for example, to use a font recognition algorithm for the location of electronic components - a common requirement in PCB manufacturing. The result is extended development times and high associated costs during the implementation of such systems. Minos is designed differently: objects of all types are learned in a training program which runs under Windows. | | 336.16 k - pdf | | Download | Morpheus | Morpheus is a software tool that facilitates the processing and analysis of grayscale and binary images using modern methods of mathematical morphology. The applications of morphological image processing range from visual inspection and quality control to scientific image analysis. | | 313.45 k - pdf | | Download | PrintQual | Thanks to the highly specialized software tool PrintQual (Print Quality Inspection) it is now possible to solve applications in every sector of print inspection. | | 367.82 k - pdf | | Download | Quality | Quality contains a range of functions that can be used for realtime evaluation of measured information in image processing devices. They make use of the SPC (statistical process control) methods. | | 366.36 k - pdf | | Download | Ramses | Ramses is a software tool which has been developed to detect large objects. It operates with the detection method of normalized gray scale correlation using image pyramids. In this classic correlation procedure the image data to be compared is moved over the search area, thus ascertaining the area with the maximum match. | | 439.41 k - pdf | | Download | Sequence | The software tool Sequence is used for recording image sequences. | | 365.94 k - pdf | | Download | ShapeFinder | ShapeFinder is a search tool for recognizing the position of objects irrespective of orientation and size on the basis of the inner and outer contour properties of the objects. | | 293.55 k - pdf | | Download |
