Notes: Pins 4, 5 and 7 are common inside the unit. This ground is not connected to earth ground (the chassis), so the supply is isolated.
When making cables, be sure to use multiple twisted pair with overall shield. Tie the shield off at the power supply end to the shell only, and leave the shield at the camera end unconnected. You can also connect the ground lines at the camera end of the cable. Do not make the power portion of the cable too long. The table below shows typical maximum cable lengths. If you need a long cable, we can preset the supply for the longer cable.
ILI makes cables for most frame grabbers.
Maximum Cable Lengths: PS1: 6'(20AWG) 10'(18AWG) 15'(16AWG)
PS3: 5'(16AWG)
Mounting: Four 10-32 tapped holes in base on 8" x 4.5" (PS1) or 12" x 4.5"(PS3) rectangle centered on box base.
Power: Models: PSx-DP9-115 Input: 105-120 VAC, 47-63 Hz Acceptable
Models: PSx-DP9-230 Input: 220-240 VAC, 47-63 Hz Acceptable
CAUTIONS:
Turn off power before attaching camera power cable! Turn power on only after all ends of camera cable are attached. |
