Protection Features:

Short circuit protection - protects the power supply from improper cabling. After a short, power down the unit, fix the cable, and re-power the unit

Regulator failure protection - protects the camera from catastrophic electronic failures. This supply will shut down if a failure is detected. No high voltage is passed to the outputs which can damaging sensitive equipment

Power line EMI/RFI filter is incorporated to remove unwanted spikes from the source.
